§ 9.07. Penalty.

Any person who violates any provisions of this subchapter or who shall fail or refuse to obey any order issued hereunder shall be subject to a forfeiture. Such forfeiture shall be not less than $10.00 nor more than $2,000.00, together with the costs of such action. Upon default or refusal to pay such forfeiture, such person shall be imprisoned for not more than 60 days. Each day of violation, disobedience, omission, neglect, or refusal shall be a separate offense. This section shall not preclude the city from maintaining any appropriate action to prevent or remove a violation of this chapter.
